Question 1

Is Kintry a Jira replacement?

Accepted Answer

For PM-led teams running discovery, delivery, and reporting together, yes. Kintry covers the Objective, Initiative, Epic, Story, Task hierarchy, dependencies, and kanban execution. It is not aimed at enterprise Jira admins who need custom workflow schemes.

Question 2

How do citations actually work?

Accepted Answer

Knowledge sources, competitor profiles, and news items are ingested, chunked, and embedded with pgvector. Agent answers and briefings include explicit citations back to the chunk, source, or news item, every time.

Question 3

What about the AI features?

Accepted Answer

Semantic search and cited Q&A are built in. Every answer is grounded in stored, attributable material, with similarity thresholds enforced before anything is surfaced.

Question 4

What does it cost?

Accepted Answer

Kintry is in private beta. Beta workspaces are free, with no card required, while we ship intelligence and the stakeholder coach. Paid plans land before we lift the beta.

Question 5

Who owns the data?

Accepted Answer

You do. Your workspace is multi-tenant isolated on Supabase Postgres, with row-level security enforced on every table.

Question 6

Where do PRDs live?

Accepted Answer

PRDs live next to the feature they describe and link to the initiative, epic, milestone, and roadmap period. Discovery evidence stays attached, so the rationale travels with the work.
